Additional Notes: Donor: Miss Fanny Morgan Walcott. Miss Walcott was associated with the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and served as their Secretary in 1905. Her address was listed in the roster as “Waiala”, Hampton, Virginia. (Association Yearbook, 1905 via Google ebooks) “Waiala” was a Hampton farm originally founded by William Nevins Armstrong, brother of Samuel Chapman Armstrong who founded Hampton Agricultural and Normal School (now Hampton University)
