Marks/Inscriptions: MID SPOON by HUGH PHILIP, St. Andrews, Scotland, PERIOD 1820—1830, 10a (on card tied to shaft). Partial shaft stamps “JA___” and “__R__M_RIF”. Partial maker’s mark “H__P___P”.
Additional Notes: Hugh Philp used ash for shafts; thorn, apple and pear woods for heads.
