Description: Sheepskin grip, hickory shaft, natural finish on shaft and clubhead, scared neck, backweight, horn insert, lined face, maker’s mark and shaft stamp.
Added whipping on grip, repositioned whipping on shaft.

Marks/Inscriptions: Card removed——previously identified as 11E. R. FORGAN & SON, ST. ANDREWS, (shaft stamp); R. FORGAN and plume mark (maker’s marks)
Additional Notes: Club was previously identified as a “Bulger Driver”. The presence of the screw holes on the sole and the length of the clubhead, suggest it is a long nose brassie. The club was also compared to GM 148 which was identified as a “Bulger Driver” with the same circa date. GM 148 has a different curve to the toe and a shorter length than this club.
