Additional Notes: Forrester was one of the most innovative club makers in the 1890s. Multiple patents. Began making clubs in 1871. Gained attention in 1890 with patented Center Balanced irons with rounded backs. New Forrester patent almost every year. Patent in 1898 for Unbreakable Drilled Neck driver and brassie after clubs had been on market for over 3 years. Son James joined in 1903, firm renamed George Forrester & Son.
